Great, great stuff! Just a minor note...for some reason, Earl Ezell's name constantly gets written as 'Early Zell'. No matter, really, since he changed it to Ahmad Salalheldeen in the late 60s.
He was part of a group of musicians that came out of Captain Walter Dyett's demanding music program at DuSable High School. He stayed in Chicago for most of his career, and his last gig was in 2009, sixty years after he formed his first band. He died in September of 2010.
'Aunt Woo Wa' was locally recorded and produced, with lots of obvious Sun Ra influence, who Ezell and some of the combo were also playing with at the time.
