The Bohemian Embassy in Toronto was known as Canada's wordiest landmark. A haven for jazz, folk and poetry. They also put on plays and just generally catered to the artsy crowd of Toronto in the 60's. There is a new-ish doc. about this place out now that I have yet to see but there is a trailer you can watch here. The irony is, now, The Bohemian Embassy is a giant turd of luxury condo's in Toronto...
