that was mine! let's see... it was me, lipton, rexroth, larry rivers, and some real crazy chick. what was here name? rayanne or somethin. it was wild! but this was back in the old days of course. we called up charlie parker and said, "hey man, you gotta' get down here. you won't believe this scene!"
That's Fred Katz on cello and Paul Horn on flute, both in the Chico Hamilton Quintet of the day, so Chico must be around there somewhere. They also did the backing on the Ken Nordine Word Jazz LPs (credited as Forestorn Hamilton for contractual reasons). Nice...
